This past weekend we had Cousin Daniella and Cousin Connor come and visit our house for playtime. Daniella is around Rylan's age, so it is so cute to see both of them interact with each other. On the other hand, Arianna is closer to Cousin Connor's age, both being around the terrible two's (I say that with love).
We are so blessed to have such a large and loving family. Now all we have to do is get Cousin Lowell and family to move up this way and we will be all set :) I am sure there will be many years of play and memories and I hope all the kids can grow up together being best of friends.

Weekend Review
Friday evening, I took Anna to her second dance class.. This time I prepared her for what was to happen. I let her know that I would not be in class with her but would watching from the window. She seemed to understand what I meant but I wasn't sure until we actually got to there and she went into the classroom without any problems. Grammy came along so I am sure Anna loved the extra attention. She was all smiles and was just very excited to be dancing next to Mikayla. As soon class was over, she asked if she could go back to class. I think she is over her shy phase.
Saturday my parents hung out at our house for awhile. Grampy took both of the tots outside to explore nature. Arianna always begs Grampy to take her and Rylan for their special walks.
The rest of the weekend was just relaxation time. Ryan wasn't feeling the greatest so we just hung in and spent some good old quality time together.

Daniella's Party
After dance class on Saturday, we all went to Daniella's first B day party. The party was held outdoors and guests feasted on hot dogs, hamburgers and a variety of party foods. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and the kids loved it when the presents were being opened. They always love a good party.

First Day of Dance Class
Today was Arianna's first day of dance class! We arrived at the dance studio around 10 am and waited patiently for the studio doors to open. Arianna checked out all the other little girls who were going to join her in class and she waited anxiously for Cousin Mikayla to arrive.
At 10:15 the studio doors opened and the girls lined up one by one and went into class. As soon as the door closed behind them, Arianna started crying because mommy wasn't with her. The instructors called me in and I sat with her for a little while until she decided she would rather sit with Mikayla. I quietly snuck out of the class and let the door close behind me. I didn't feel so bad, as there were several other mothers who had to rush in after their screaming daughters. Some had to stay in the class the entire time.
Tanya and I watched as the girls danced, played with music sticks and hula hoops. They did great until the very end when Arianna realized I was not in the class anymore. Thank goodness it took her most of the class to notice I wasn't there! She started to cry a little bit but I came in with the rest of the parents because class had ended and it was time to go home.
It was great for Arianna to have another friend there to share her dancing experience with. She really loves spending time with Mikayla. Dallie even showed up in the middle of class to check on her girl and cheer her on. Thanks Dallie!
We return to class next Friday and I will certainly update the blog with the next dance news!
