The Gift

Merrimack Valley Christian Day School had their annual holiday program this past week entitled "The Gift" and all of the little angels performed beyond our greatest expectations. What better way to bring Christmas cheer than to celebrate with song. Our little Arianna rang her little bell to "Jingle Bells" and sang her beautiful heart out to "Merry Christmas" and other various poems and songs. We could not help but laugh and smile throughout the entire performance as it was just too cute for words. I know I say this often, but Arianna, we could not be more proud of you. Your voice is a song and you have a spirit of an angel.

Because the MBs were too large, here are the links to Arianna's performances:

Frosty Dance!

LPDC put on their annual holiday dance this past week for each classroom.  Arianna's creative movement class danced to Frosty the snowman.  Unfortunately, Arianna was a bit under the weather and a bit spaced out during the performance so she didn't participate much as most of the girls just danced around her, but that's okay, we are still super proud of her and she looked adorable!

Turkey 2009

Another year, another turkey, another time of gathering the family together. We usually spend Thanksgiving with Ryan's side of the family which is always a wonderful time, however this year we decided to host Thanksgiving at our house and invite my parents and sisters family over. I was a bit nervous to take on such a large dinner but everything came out burn free and the house remained in tact. Thank God my sister (Martha Stewart the II) helped with the preparations as she can prepare huge quantities of gourmet food with her eyes closed. I don't think I will ever be as industrious as her when it comes to the culinary arts but I can try to learn from the best.

Let's hope to have the entire family for Turkey 2010.... Just do not ask me to cook :)

The table was set and ready about 5 hours before the turkey was ready... I like to be prepared.

Starting off the turkey and saying a silent prayer that nothing gets set on fire during the cooking process.

The boys (Rylan and Connor) play in the playroom while they wait for dinner.

This picture just kills me. I love how Ryan is trying to act like he is kissing me, when in fact he is really just trying to watch the football game.

Another picture after I yell at Ryan for not paying attention to me.

Turkey is burn free... well, sort of. Time to eat!

Gifts 2009

Pictures of our little lady...

We love you Arianna! You are beautiful both inside and out.

Of course we could never forget our little angel, Rylan. His smile melts our hearts.

You are both the greatest gifts we could ever have hoped for.

Back to the Mountains

And we're back! Yes, another family weekend in North Conway, full of shopping, eating, drinking and playing mindless games by the fire.

Ryan got a bit carried away with setting up the train track

Yup, an exciting time was had by all

Alice and the Doggy

The pictures we have all been waiting for... Halloween 2009!

Welcome the season of sugar highs.

Thank you Dallie for coming on our neighborhood walk with us, visiting Meme at Bruyere Gardens and hitting up "Trunk-or-Treat" at the local church!

We always have a special time as a family.

Post at Last!

Okay, so I know I have been totally slacking when it comes to blogging these days. It seems so much easier to upload my photos onto facebook and call it a day, but I am and WILL get back on here and update what the latest and greatest is.

So where have we left off? Okay, so Arianna started ballet for her second year and me, being the proud moth
er I am, had taken plenty of pictures but my computer that had all of the photos CRASHED... I lost all the beautiful ballerina pics! Sigh.... I know there was more activity along with pictures but I just can't seem to recall all of it right now; my head being fuzzy with kid mentality.

Where does this leave us now? Well along the path of a few serious Rylan meltdowns and a couple of Arianna diva tantrums, we recently went to North Conway a few weekends ago. We had a blast spending time with my family and just enjoying nature, shopping and the excitement of new surroundings. It is just always nice leaving my messy house for a few days and destroying a new one.

So ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I give you amazing pictures from North Conway, NH (The White Mountains, if you please).

Yup, my Mom starts off the party...
