I'm sort of sad. I'm sad because every year I judge July Fourth as the highlight of the summer and after that I wait for the coming of fall and it's chilly days. I know I still have a couple of months of summer left before the leaves start to wither, but I can't help feel that the dog days of the season are somewhat behind us. I truly love our summer and our fourth of July parties. It is all about family and celebrating our times together and I hate for it all to end. So before we put away or sunglasses and swimsuits, let's have a couple of more drinks, several laughs and a few more pictures to capture the moments.
This fourth is for you, Chris Wilson. We are sorry you could not be here to celebrate with us but we thank you and our soldiers for your sacrifice and defending our country so we have something to celebrate about.
